Scouting for Girls have secured their first-ever number one in the UK singles chart with their new track This Aint A Love Song.

The group ended Lady Gaga's two-week reign at the top of the UK charts, reports the Telegraph.

Scouting for Girls' single took the top position, pushing Telephone, the flamboyant singer's single featuring Beyonce, into second place.

Lady Gaga's album The Fame also remained at number two in the UK chart, behind Boyzone's tribute album to Stephen Gately, called Brother, which clung on to the top spot.
