Puja Gupta is single and loving it

Model-turned-actor Puja Gupta, who made her film debut in F.A.L.T.U is currently shooting for two upcoming films Go Goa Gone and Shortcut Romeo. While Go Goa... has her in a comic role, Shortcut... will see her in her first romantic outing opposite actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who she says is a good friend. But what has her more excited about the film is that she will be donning  two different avatars in it. “While the first half has me in a glamorous get-up, in the second half I play a poor, simple girl, sporting a de-glam look,” reveals Puja.

Interestingly, the actor, who was the only girl with three guys in her debut  film  finds herself in a similar situation in Go Goa Gone, which has actors Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu and Vir Das in pivotal roles.  And, the pretty actor is reaping the benefits. “I don’t know if it is because I am the only girl but I do get a lot of attention on the sets. All of them pamper me, see to it that I am fed properly and comfortable,” smiles Puja.

Soon, the actor will be leaving for Mauritius to shoot for the film. The place has fond memories for the actor, who shot for her first film there. “Mauritius always features  in my travel plans, but this is the first time I am travelling in July, so I am expecting good weather. The last time I shot there it was very hot,” says Puja, claiming that acting was not in her scheme of things. During her modelling days, she was spotted by choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza, who offered her F.A.L.T.U and since  then there’s no looking back for this Delhi girl, who has since shifted base to Mumbai.
