Revealed: Here's how Aamir Khan's character will transform in 'Dangal'

Who is this? That's the first question you will be left asking when you watch Aamir Khan now. The actor, who's put on piles of weight for his upcoming film Dangal has started shooting for his next in Ludhiana. The shoot was tentatively supposed to begin on September 1 but the team has now moved to Ludhiana to film in real locations. 

This isn't the first time Aamir Khan has put his heart and soul into perfecting the look for a film. Previously, Aamir had grown a beard for Mangal Pandey and also shaved his head off for Ghajini. Aamir Khan has gone into a complete transformation after his last super hit- PK. 

The film, which is loosely based on wrestler Mahavir Phogat's life will have Aamir play different ages, much like his super successful 3 Idiots. but in Dangal, the age range will be relatively higher. While on one side, he will be seen as a young 18 year old wrestler, he will also be essaying the role of a 50 year old father as well. 

Here's how the actor has decided to transform for both his looks. 

Current state!

The actor, in his current state, weighs over 90 kilos and has been piling on weight for the role. Talking about it, Aamir had told us, "My family has shown a lot of concern over my health and my doctor had even told me to give it a thought." But the actor was adamant. "I weigh over 90 kilos and I have over 25 kilos already. It's a little difficult for me to walk too much now." The actor will shoot the second part of the film first before moving on to the first part. A source tells us, "The team will finish off shooting with the older Aamir first. Then we will go on a break and finish the patchwork before we start our second schedule."

Break ke baad!
The team will finish off the first schedule by January-February where they will film the entire second half. "After finishing the patchwork, Aamir will again take another break." Why? "The actor will lose all the weight he's gained and get back in shape to shoot the younger portions." Aamir will be shown as an 18 year old wrestler in the first half and he becomes a 50 year old father of two towards the end of the film. The actor, we hear will be rigorously working out to be in shape and film start shooting for the second by mid-next year. 

6 packs again!
Aamir Khan had done it in Dhoom 3 and PK. He is going to do it again in Dangal. No we arent talking about action sequences, but the body type he flaunted in his earlier films. Aamir is all set to flaunt his 6 pack abs yet again for Dangal. Aamir confirmed, "I have two different looks in the film. In the first half, I play a young wrestler for which i need to have a certain body prototype. In the second half i play a 50 year old father hence the 90 kilos. I have already gained a lot of weight to play the older version of my character in Dangal. I will shoot for the sequences and then get back in shape for the younger version," he adds.

The preparations are on and he will soon start working out once he completes shooting for the second half. "I will have to lose all the weight I gained and flaunt a chiselled body, something like i did for a Dhoom 3 or a PK." So will it be 6 packs again for Aamir? Or will he go a step further and flaunt 8 packs? Let's wait and watch.
