Prashanth Neel’s Salaar has been grabbing headlines since the announcement of the movie. With just 36 days to its release, the excitement among the fans has increased. The advance booking of the film was opened in the USA and the film has already sold over 4K tickets.
Prabhas isn’t having the best of his time in films as after Saaho, his two back-to-back films Raadhe Shyam and Adipurush performed poorly. With Salaar, the actor is back in his forte of action entertainers and fans have high expectations from the movie. In fact, the movie has already started to spread its charm even before its release and it is quite visible in the advance bookings of the film.
In the USA, Salaar: Part 1-Ceasfire has booked an excellent start by collecting $128, 980 gross till now and has sold 4456 premiere advance tickets. The tickets for the movie are sold out in Dallas just 36 days before the release.
Salaar: Part 1-Ceasfire marks the grand collaboration of KGF director Prashanth Neel and Baahubali stars Prabhas. The two have teamed for the first time to provide the audience with immense action and thrill. The teaser of the movie was released recently which took social media by storm and garnered 100 million views in 2 days. The makers promised the trailer to release at the end of August. They took to their social media and expressed gratitude for the same, they wrote, “100 Million Views and we're feeling dino-mite! Thank you all for being part of this incredible milestone. Your support means the world to us.”
Salaar: Part 1- Ceasfire will star Prabhas along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu among others in key roles. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the film is slated to release in theatres on September 28.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has also alread sold tickets worth Rs 1 crore at the US box office 15 days ahead of its release. Trade Analyst Manobala Vijayabalan tweeted that Jawan's advance bookings in the US have crossed $150,000 (over Rs 1.25 crore) two weeks ahead of films release on September 7. This means Shah Rukh and Prabhas' film is competing neck to neck in advance bookings.
