The Lily wedding dress, which Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the Sex and the City’ movie, has become a rage in Hollywood.
Designed by Vivienne Westwood, the dress is wooing Hollywood's most glamorous with its ultra-slimming shape. And the secret behind the popularity of the creation is — a structured corset topped with an exaggerated sweetheart bust.
"The top is her signature detail, but the silhouettes can be quite different; there's a flute dress or a frilly '50s-inspired A-line," the New York Daily News quoted a Westwood rep as saying.

Immediately after the film’s release, the shorter, nonbridal Lily - which goes for $9,875 - sold out worldwide.
And thus, Westwood continued to create new versions.
And recently, in her spring 2010 line, she featured a fitted, slate-gray version that was sported by Emma Thompson at a movie premiere in London last month.
Oscar winner Sandra Bullock rocked a shimmery champagne version of the dress to the People's Choice Awards and instantly earned rave reviews.
Songstress Leona Lewis went edgy with a patent-leather mini-version of the dress at the American Music Awards.
Even budget-friendly retailers, like Topshop and Forever 21, are stocking the sweetheart-corset trend.
"The top [of the Lily] is the common feature which is flattering for all silhouettes," added the Westwood rep.
