There are mere weeks left until BBC's Sherlock returns to small screens for a one-off special in Sherlock: The Abominable Bride. To keep the excitement at peak, fans have been served a new trailer for the episode set to release on January 1.

This time, Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock Holmes is in the era it's always supposed to be in - the Victorian era. Martin Freeman's John Watson has a brilliant handlebar moustache. Though, the duo is doing the same thing they have always done, solve mysteries, because the game is afoot!

In the new trailer, we get the scary glimpses of the bride, who is evidently being 'abominable'. Watson cannot believe how a dead bride can be chasing them and Holmes takes pride in the witty sentence - "To the morgue. There is not a moment to lose. Which one can so rarely say of a morgue."

This one-off special will also be broadcast in select cinemas worldwide. Showrunner Mark Gatiss has assured that the episode will carry the same style and humour as the modern time Sherlock.
