Three cheers

Adnan Sami going slim has certainly become a boon for the singer as his career in Bollywood has certainly expanded. Adnan, who has made a mark as a singer in the industry, is ready for a stint in acting as he has got three movie offers as an actor, a couple in which he is set to star as a lead, which he is ready to take up.

Adnan reveals: “It is true that I have got movie offers, in fact I have got three offers and all of them have a very good script. I’m very pleased that people consider that I can act well and I’m looking forward to deliver my best. Unfortunately I cannot reveal the projects right away as we are waiting for a proper announcement.”

He adds: “It has been a tough task losing all the weight but it is rewarding to note that people are loving this new Adnan and are also ready to cast me as an actor. It is a huge compliment especially after all the effort I had put in.”

On the singing front Adnan has recently tasted big success as his song with Michael Jackson’s older brother Jermaine called Let’s Go to Mumbai City zoomed up the charts. The video of the song that has been directed by Divya Khosla has also been well received. Adnan says he wants Jermaine to sing a full Hindi song.

“Jermaine’s Hindi is quite good and we were all pleasantly surprised by the way he could pronounce almost every word. It would be a pleasure to work with him on a Hindi song.
Though Michael became a legend, Jermaine’s a good singer too and we had great fun shooting with him in Mumbai. He loved vada-pav and went ga-ga over it,” Adnan ends.
