Trisha finally signs her first film with Dhanush!

There was a lot of speculation as to whether these two actors were set to do a film together. But now it has been confirmed. Actress Trisha has signed her first film with National Award winning actor and producer Dhanush.

According to sources, the actress had been in talks for a while about the film. She just recently did the look test and signed the film, added the source.

She didn't end up working with Dhanush in Aadukalam, but the new project is likely to be a cracker of a film. The movie will be directed by Durai Senthil. who made Kaaki Sattai and Ethir Neechal. It was revealed a while earlier that Trisha was being considered for a lead role with negative shades in this film. The Durai Senthil film will have another actress as well. It is likely that Anirudh will be the music director for this film.

Trisha has been having a stellar year with a string of hits and good films in her kitty. Her recent film Thoongavanam with Kamal Haasan has earned her a lot of praise and is a box office hit. Her next film to release is Aranmanai 2 for Pongal 2016.
