Barbara Mori’s big bash for cancer awareness

Actor and cancer survivor Barbara Mori has taken up the cause of raising awareness about the disease in a big way. She intends to throw a lavish bash during the release of the Hollywood docu-drama 1 a Minute — which features women celebs from across the world who are cancer survivors. Apparently, she has invited some top celebs from across the world for the event. Actor Lisa Ray, who also stars in the docu-drama, will back Barbara in this initiative.

A source says, “Both Barbara and Lisa have their histories with cancer and now they are going all out to help as many women suffering from cancer as possible. The entire team wants to bond during this bash planned by Barbara. Apart from them, Gael Garcia Bernal of The Motorcycle Diaries, Jennifer Connelly and Noureen DeWulf will be the special guests at the night.”

Barbara says, “It is a cause that is very special to me and I will continue doing work that helps in saving the lives of people from this disease. No matter where I’m in this world, I will continue to try my best to help raise awareness.”
