It’s Diganth mela this month, what with the actor being blessed with four back-to-back releases. After having received positive reviews for his previous films, Diganth, as an actor, proves his acting prowess in Kaanchaana too. But the film? Well, being a romantic-comedy, it does tickle your funny bones to an extent but lacks in the most important department — the script.
The story starts with Diganth and his two friends who dress up in different avatars in order to host their show Bakra, for a television channel. Their only recreation after work is to spend the rest of the day in a bar. With one of the gang members being threatened by a local thug for money, the entire bunch is caught in a web woven by different criminals. How they get out of the whole situation is for you to see!
As far as the various performances are concerned, Diganth steals the show with his quick comic timing and impresses the audience with his various avatars. Diganth and Ragini share a crackling chemistry in the movie, but unfortunately there is no room for it except for a few songs. This applies to even actors like Kiran Srinivas who has very little screen space in the movie. Though the dialogues of the movie were entertaining, there is no substantial story to support it. If you can laugh your heart out without questioning logic, then this one is for you!
