'Joker' Public Review: Joaquin Phoenix compared with legendary Heath Ledger

The much-awaited Hollywood movie Joker has released. Although the critics couldn't stop going gaga over the film, calling it Oscar-winning, the movie has now found fans in audiences too. The viewers were absolutely impressed with Jaoquin Phoenix's performance.

In fact Phoenix as Joker has impressed the viewers to such an extent that they have compared his role to the legendary Heath Ledger. The actor, who played joker in 'The Dark Knight' series, was rumoured to be so immersed into his character that he drove himself crazy. After Ledger, which is also after approximately a decade, the audiences found similar madness and great performance in Phoenix.

The story of Joker revolves around Arthur Fleck, who was working hard towards becoming a stand-up comedian in 1980s. Arthur made himself believe to always keep smiling, even if it meant planting it on his face permanently. Jaoquin in the role makes it hard to take eyes off him, no matter what the situation.

Todd Philips has managed to tap into the dark world of DC and Joker, and re-think our own being. "Joker is a statement on society and perspective. It claims everyone has their side of the story. Truth is the one you chose to believe in," was DNA's verdict on the movie.
