1.Ankita is from small village of Durg

2.Success in 2018
According to a report of UPSC Pathshala, Ankita Sharma got success in her third attempt, in the year 2018. This year, she secured 203rd rank in the UPSC examination. After this, Ankita has become the first woman IPS of Chhattisgarh to get home cadre. (Photo Source- Ankita Sharma Instagram)
3.Operation Bastar
Ankita Sharma is now commanding the Naxal operation, in the Naxal-affected Bastar district. Earlier, she was posted as Municipal Superintendent of Police (CSP) in Azad Chowk, near capital Raipur. Let us tell you that Bastar is considered as a highly Naxal affected district. In order to eliminate the Naxalites, Operation Bastar is being run by the Chhattisgarh Police. 4.Wanted to become IPS since childhood

5.UPSC preparation after MBA
Ankita Sharma did her MBA after graduating from Durg. She then came to Delhi, to prepare for UPSC, but she studied there for only six months and then went back to home. After that, she started preparing her own. (Photo Source- Ankita Sharma Instagram)
6.Husband is an Army officer
In the interview, Ankita also said that she got married during the preparation of UPSC. Her husband Vivekanand Shukla is a Major in the Army and is currently stationed in Mumbai. While living with her husband, she had to live in cities like Jammu and Kashmir, Hyderabad, Jhansi and she failed twice in the UPSC exam. 7.Fond of horse riding and badminton

8.Led Republic Day parade
Last year, on the occasion of Republic Day, trainee IPS Ankita Sharma led the parade at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. With this, she became the first woman police officer in the history of the state to command a Republic Day parade. (Photo Source- Ankita Sharma Instagram)

10.Prepares youth
Ankita Sharma had to face a lot of difficulties while preparing for UPSC. Therefore, she now tries that no one else has to suffer as much as she had to.
