Launching development schemes worth Rs 655 crore in the SP stronghold, Yogi Adityanath said casteism and nepotism cannot prevail over development. "Corruption was at its nadir during the Congress regime.
A day after losing Kairana and Noorpur seats, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath finally broke his silence challenging the unholy alliance of non-BJP parties to break their 'chakravyuh' by development and welfare of all sections and enrolling 2.5 lakh new members into the party fold.
Significantly, the Chief Minister took up the challenge in Etawah, the hometown of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and party chief Akhilesh Yadav. "A few corrupt political parties have joined hands to stop Modiji returning to power. Though the unholy alliance would fell apart on its own due to their greed and contradictions else we will break it by taking Prime Minister's schemes to the last person of the state," said the CM.
Launching development schemes worth Rs 655 crore in the SP stronghold, Yogi Adityanath said casteism and nepotism cannot prevail over development. "Corruption was at its nadir during the Congress regime.
The BSP and SP have brazenly promoted casteism to divide people instead of launching schemes for their welfare and development of Uttar Pradesh. Now when the BJP was carrying out development, they are creating impediments by spreading lies," he said.
Asking people of the state to be wary of their lies, the CM said that the unholy alliance was being struck mainly to loot the state again.
Interestingly, during his maiden visit to Etawah after becoming the Chief Minister in March last year, Yogi Adityanath also attended first time the district coordination committee meeting to attend to grievances of the party cadre, which was one of the reasons for the BJP facing recent defeats in by-polls.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the party district coordinators and office-bearers to enroll at least 2.5 lakh new members in each parliamentary constituency to checkmate the challenge thrown by the united opposition in Uttar Pradesh.
Assuring party cadre to attend their problems personally, he directed them to ensure that benefits of the Centre and State governments' schemes reach to the last person of the state. He asked district coordination committee members to write their complaints through the minister in-charge for immediate disposal.
After losing Kairana Lok Sabha and Noorpur Assembly seats too in by-polls, Yogi Adityanath is back in action after realizing that four losses in the last three months has dented his image as the Head of the government.
People are cracking jokes jokes in social media about his pan-India star campaigner image by saying that 'Hero outside, Zero in his home turf.' Sources close to Yogi Adityanath said that the Chief Minister has learnt his lessons from poll reverses and is in discussion with the party national President Amit Shah to evolve a strategy for creating a Modi 'undercurrent' ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha polls to pull rug under united opposition feet.
