Delhi-NCR witness hike in CNG price, rates in other cities increased by...

Compressed natural gas (CNG) prices have gone up due to government action. The rate rise went into effect at six a.m. today, June 22. The cost of CNG has been hiked by one rupee per kilogramme. Following this rise, CNG will now cost Rs 75.09 per kilogramme instead of Rs 74.09 in the nation's capital, New Delhi.

The retail pricing of CNG in several cities in Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and the NCR area would be impacted by this hike.The cost of CNG has hiked in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad by one rupee. Up till now, the cost of CNG in these cities was Rs 78.70 per kilogramme, but it is currently Rs 79.70 per kilogramme.

Gurugram, which is a part of the National Capital Region, continues to have the same CNG tariff. The costs of CNG in Karnal and Kaithal have not changed, except from Gurugram. The cost of CNG has also gone up as of right now in Rewari, Haryana; Meerut; Muzaffarnagar; Shamli, Uttar Pradesh; and Ajmer, Pali, and Rajsamand, Rajasthan.
 
Rewari's CNG rates are now Rs 79.70 per kilogramme instead of Rs 78.70.
 
Price increases of Rs 80.08 to Rs 79.08 per kg have been seen in Uttar Pradesh in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli. Many Uttar Pradesh cities have already raised their CNG tariffs prior to Bakrid. Since last Sunday, CNG rates have gone up in Lucknow, Unnao, Agra, and Ayodhya.

In Lucknow, Unnao, Agra, and Ayodhya, the new cost of CNG is Rs 94.00 per kilogramme. Before this, the cost of CNG was 92.25/KG in Lucknow, Agra, and Unnao, and 92.35/KG in Ayodhya.
