Four Maoists, allegedly involved in circulating Naxal literature, were arrested in Orissa's Mayurbhanj district today, police said.

The ultras, hailing from West Midnapore district of West Bengal, were picked up during a combing operation in the forest of Pala under Suliapada police station area, Mayurbhanj superintendent of police Dayal Gangwar said.

They were identified as Laxman Baske (23), Ramdas Soren (22), Dhiren Mahato (35) and Prabir Mahato (19), he said adding further investigation was on.
