CPI leader D Pandian has alleged that DMK chief and Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi has not taken any step to reslove the vexed Cauvery issue, despitmaduraie his party being an ally of the present UPA government and he being at the helm of affairs five times since 1968.
"Karunanidhi's party is an ally of the present UPA government and he has held the post of chief minister five times since 1968. But he has not taken any steps to resolve the Cauvery water dispute," he told reporters here last night.
He also found fault with DMK ministers at the Centre for not raising any questions in Parliament about the hike in prices of petrol and diesel.
