The Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the Delhi Police and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers against the Patiala House Court's order to file an FIR against AAP leader Kumar Vishwas over an alleged molestation charges by an AAP volunteer.

The next date for hearing on the matter is scheduled for July 21.

Vishwas yesterday approached the High Court against the order of the lower court.

A Metropolitan Magistrate's court had last week ordered the police to register an FIR against the AAP leader based on the woman's complaint.

The Delhi Police had earlier in its status report filed before the court said that nothing was found to substantiate the allegations levelled by the AAP volunteer against Vishwas.

According to reports, the complainant had stated that Vishwas had made sexually coloured remarks and made advances towards her.

She also alleged that the accused had molested her in different cities during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections campaign and then a few months later.
