Despite the monsoon rains, people are still dealing with high humidity and heat, making them sweat profusely. Here's a detailed look at the weather forecast for July 29, 2024, across various regions in India.

Delhi:
Today, Delhi experienced light drizzle in some areas during the afternoon. However, the humidity increased afterward, making it uncomfortable for residents. The Meteorological Department predicts that the maximum temperature in Delhi may decrease by 2 degrees tomorrow. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to drop to 36 degrees, while the minimum temperature might be around 28 degrees. Light rain is expected to continue until August 3.

Uttar Pradesh:
The Meteorological Department has good news for Uttar Pradesh. Starting tomorrow, monsoon activity will increase in many parts of the state. Residents have been dealing with high humidity and heat, and farmers are eagerly awaiting good rain. The monsoon is expected to be active in most parts of Uttar Pradesh for the next four to five days, with heavy rain expected in some areas and light rain in others until August 2. Most districts in Uttar Pradesh may receive rain tomorrow.

Other States:
The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rain in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Additionally, rain is expected in Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and the northeastern states.

Mumbai:

The sky is expected to be rainy, so carrying an umbrella is advisable. Heavy rainfall may lead to significant waterlogging in some areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert, effective until today, indicating the need for caution. Despite the rain, the maximum temperature could reach around 31°C, with the minimum staying around 25°C.

Air Quality:
Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) is at 48.0, which falls under the 'good' category. This means outdoor activities can be enjoyed without worrying about air pollution. It's a great opportunity to go for a walk, run errands, or simply enjoy the fresh air.

Himachal Pradesh:
In Himachal Pradesh, the monsoon season is expected to intensify starting today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain across most areas of the state, effective until August 2. This period indicates potentially severe weather conditions. The monsoon activity has been uneven so far, with sporadic rainfall in different regions. However, starting today, the weather is forecasted to worsen in most parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Conclusion:
