Kids must NOT remember the present MS Dhoni - Former India cricketer's bold statement

Chennai Super Kings suffered their second straight loss in IPL 2020 on Friday (September 25) as skipper MS Dhoni faced the wrath of criticism after his side's poor display. After the loss to Rajasthan Royals by 16 runs in Sharjah, Chennai Super Kings suffered a 44-run loss to Delhi Capitals. This was their first loss to the Delhi Capitals since IPL 2018 in the match at the Arun Jaitley stadium. After the superb start against Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi, the two back-to-back losses have put Chennai Super Kings in the fifth spot and out of the top four in a very long time.

Former Team India cricketer Ajay Jadeja has also criticized the CSK skipper for his below per display at the IPL 2020 so far. While speaking to Cricbuzz about MS Dhoni and Co's performance after the match, Jadeja said that he hopes the new generation of cricket watchers should not remember this present Dhoni and should cherish the old one instead.

"Dhoni has retired from Indian cricket team duty but is still leading CSK. Those kids who have started watching cricket now, would remember the Dhoni they are seeing on the screens, contrary to the great cricketer they were being told about before which is the sad part," Jadeja said.

Ajay then went on to criticize MSD's batting number and added, "I would again same the same thing. I am not happy with MS Dhoni’s batting position. No war is won while fighting from behind. There’s a saying in the Army that a war concludes when the General steps out."

Following the loss, fans lashed out on Twitter saying that Chennai Super Kings were not even trying to win. Once again, in two consecutive games, Dhoni had left it too late and this time, superior death bowling from Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje ensured that Chennai Super Kings would not even come close.

However, one has to really strain their memory to figure out when was the last time MS Dhoni lost two out of his first three games.
