Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria has instructed the Superintendent of Police of all the districts to keep a watch on the protestors in the state on September 6, in view of Bharat Bandh. Home Minister Kataria said that nobody will be allowed to take law and order in the hands, and spread social malice in the state. However, everyone has the right to speak in a peaceful and democratic manner. But, no compromise will be made with the law system.

In the Secretariat, Home Minister Kataria said that all the district Superintendents of Police have been instructed to deal with every situation. The Police Department is fully prepared in view of the arrangement. The government is ready to deal with any kind of unpleasant situation.

It is notable that the General community is very angry against the SC/ST act and is agitating on the roads. The General Backward and Minority Sector Officer Employees’ Association (SAPAKS) has announced Bharat Bandh on September 6. In view of this, the police has made arrangements for special vigilance in the state. Significantly, the matter of the Modi government making amendments in the SC/ST act and then restoring it to the original form is becoming popular.
