1.2 : 1.2: J Khan to D Warner, FOUR! Back of a length delivery tailing in to the body, Warner looks to tickle this fine. Gets it off the glove and sends it across the fine leg fence for a boundary.
5.5 : 5.5: J Khan to D Warner, OUT! Junaid strikes! That's a big, big wicket! Warner was looking scratchy in the middle and his uncomfortable stay at the crease comes to an end. Bowls a back of a length delivery outside off, shapes away after pitching. Warner looks to run it down to third man but ends up getting a faint nick. Rizwan behind the stumps moves to his left and completes a regulation catch. Good start for the Pakistanis.
7.4 : 7.4: J Khan to U Khawaja, FOUR! Nicely done by Usman Khawaja. He plays this very late, initially goes for the drive and then adjusts himself. Runs it down towards the third man fence and gets a boundary to his name.
7.6 : 7.6: J Khan to U Khawaja, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Good catch in the end from Sharjeel Khan. Excellently bowled in that off stump channel, on a back of a length, Khawaja plays at it from inside his crease and gets a healthy edge. It goes behind to Sharjeel at first slip who gets low to his left and takes it. Khawaja is still standing there, doubting whether the catch is taken cleanly or not. So, just to be sure, the umpire takes it upstairs. Replays confirm the catch is taken cleanly which means t
8.5 : 8.5: M Amir to M Marsh, OUT! GOLDEN DUCK FOR MITCHELL MARSH! What a start this is for Pakistan. Mohammad Amir fires this full and well outside off, Mitchell Marsh goes at this with hard hands and plays a loose shot. Leans across and drives this on the up straight to Imad Wasim at covers. He pouches it with ease and Mitchell Marsh is out of there. Australia are already 3 wickets down.
8.6 : 8.6: M Amir to T Head, FOUR! Edged but it's just wide. Australia living dangerously here. Back of a length outside off, Head feels for it and gets a thick edge. Flies past the slip cordon and races away to the third man boundary.
9.1 : 9.1: J Khan to S Smith, FOUR! That's a wonderful shot. Everything about it was perfect. Back of a length outside off, Steven Smith rocks onto his back foot and punches it back past mid off. No chance for the fielder to stop that as the ball rockets away to the fence.
10.3 : 10.3: M Amir to S Smith, FOUR! Superb shot! Bowls a short delivery and offers width, Smith frees his arms and cuts it beautifully through point for a gorgeous boundary.
11.2 : 11.2: J Khan to T Head, FOUR! That's cracked! Bowls it short and wide outside off, Head stands tall and cuts it ferociously through cover-point and the ball races to the fence. That was hit so well.
11.5 : 11.5: J Khan to T Head, FOUR! Exquisite! Fuller length ball outside off, Travis puts a confident stride forward and drives it towards Imad Wasim at covers. He dives to his left but allows the ball to go through. Head gets another boundary to his name.
15.3 : 15.3: H Ali to T Head, FOUR! He is playing with so much of confidence! Fuller length ball on off, Travis lunges forward confidently and just times his push down the ground. Beautiful shot and he gets the desired result.
17.1 : 17.1: H Ali to T Head, FOUR! Hit with authority! Bowls a short delivery and angles it in, Travis stands tall and pulls it elegantly through mid-wicket. The timing is spot on and the beats the man at the deep to run through to the fence.
17.2 : 17.2: H Ali to T Head, OUT! Head departs after a flowing start! Perhaps got overconfident there and took Ali on but paid the price. Hurls in a length delivery outside off, Head strides forward and looks to force it through the off side. But only manages to get a fat outside edge and Rizwan behind the stumps takes a good catch. End of a promising 45-run stand off 51 balls.
17.6 : 17.6: H Ali to G Maxwell, FOUR! Shot! Hurls in a fullish ball outside off, driven beautifully through the covers for an exquisite boundary.
20.2 : 20.2: M Hafeez to G Maxwell, FOUR! Innovative! Bowls a loopy delivery on off, Glenn goes for the reverse sweep and connects it beautifully to send it over point. Earns a boundary to his name.
23.1 : 23.1: M Hafeez to G Maxwell, SIX! That's outta here! What a shot from Glenn Maxwell, so easy for him. He hops down the track and with the full swing of the bat, slogs it high and mighty over the wide long on boundary for a maximum.
26.2 : 26.2: I Wasim to G Maxwell, OUT! Maxwell is bowled! Imad Wasim is ecstatic. He darts this full and it's flat, Maxwell dances down the wicket to push it out but is beaten. The ball goes right through between bat and pad and rocks the timber. Maxwell got a little caught out as well as he hit his pads as he tried to play at it. He now has to make the long walk back as Australia have now lost half their side.
33.3 : 33.3: M Hafeez to M Wade, FOUR! Whacked! Comes Wade dancing down the track and drags it short, he adjsuts well and pulls it hard through mid-wicket to send it racing away to the fence.
34.5 : 34.5: M Amir to M Wade, FOUR! Streaky runs! Bowls a shortish delivery well outside off, Wade slashes at it hard but gets a thick outside edge that flies over the slip region and to the third man boundary.
38.5: H Ali to M Wade, FOUR! Beautiful! Bowls a fuller length ball, Wade strides forward and plays a punchy drive down the ground and the ball races to the long on fence.
42.3 : 42.3: I Wasim to S Smith, OUT! HE'S GONE! Steven Smith has dragged this one back on. For a change, Imad Wasim bowls this slower through the air and floats it up around off, Smith reaches out to it and looks to drag it through mid-wicket. Is a bit too early into the shot and ends up getting an inside edge which thuds onto his pads and then disturbs the bails. The Aussie skipper is gone and the 65-run stand comes to an end.
43.4 : 43.4: S Malik to M Wade, OUT! THAT'S A BIG WICKET! Australia in deep trouble here now. Wonderful piece of bowling from Shoaib Malik. He gives this plenty of air and it's drifting in, Wade looks to drive this through the covers but there's a big gap between bat and pad. It goes right through it and knocks the bails over. Pakistan in a superior position here in this match now. Last match's hero isn't able to do much damage today.
45.4: J Khan to M Starc, OUT! Very good from Junaid Khan. Had the presence of mind to get to the ball quickly and he's done well. Full ball on the stumps, Starc plays at it and gets an inside edge on the pads. The ball runs down the track and Starc takes off for the run. Faulkner sends him back though but Junaid charges to the ball. Underarms it at the striker's end and hits. Starc is well out and he's gone.
46.2 : 46.2: M Amir to J Faulkner, FOUR! Good shot. Coming in on middle and leg, Faulkner tucks this through backward square leg and sends it all the way for a boundary.
46.5 : 46.5: M Amir to Pat Cummins, OUT! An edge and Cummins departs. He starts walking himself before the umpire can even decide upon the decision. Short one on middle and leg, Pat walks across to play at it but wasn't expecting the bouncer. Looks to pull at the last second but gets a nick which is taken comfortably by Rizwan.
48.1 : 48.1: M Amir to J Faulkner, FOUR! Unexpected runs for Faulkner. He wanted to leave this alone but it's gone all the way to the boundary. Short of a length on middle and off, Faulkner looks to leave it alone by dropping his wrists but the ball goes off the shoulder of the bat and flies across the third man fence.
48.2 : 48.2: M Amir to J Faulkner, OUT! THAT DOES IT! Shortish angling across, Faulkner looks to play the ramp shot but gets a big top edge. Flies to point which is easily gobbled up by Asad Shafiq. AUSTRALIA ARE BOWLED OUT FOR 220!
2.3 : 2.3: M Starc to S Khan, FOUR! Classical cover drive! Bowls a full length ball outside off, Khan lunges forward and creams it through extra cover for an exquisite boundary. That was delightful to watch!
3.5 : 3.5: J Hazlewood to S Khan, FOUR! Shot! Bowls a shortish delivery into the stumps, Khan swivels a touch and pulls it with authority through mid on and the ball races to the fence.
6.1 : 6.1: Pat Cummins to S Khan, FOUR! Easy pickings! Straying on the pads, glanced with ease through fine leg for a boundary.
7.6 : 7.6: J Hazlewood to S Khan, FOUR! Beautiful shot! Bowls a full length ball and it's straight, Khan picks it up beautifully and hits it over mid-wicket for an elegant boundary.
10.2 : 10.2: Pat Cummins to M Hafeez, FOUR! EDGED AND OVER! Banged in short on middle and off, it's rising on Hafeez fast and he's in no control of this pull shot. The ball goes off the edge, then the helmet and then goes over the keeper's head all the way to the fine leg fence for a boundary.
12.5 : 12.5: Pat Cummins to M Hafeez, FOUR! Shot. Hit that with authority. Short and angling into the body, Mohammad Hafeez swivels across and pulls it over backward square leg for a boundary.
13.3 : 13.3: T Head to M Hafeez, FOUR! That's a beautiful shot. Full on middle and leg, Hafeez with some aggressive batting here. He kneels down and middles the sweep through backward square leg to send it across the ropes.
13.6 : 13.6: T Head to M Hafeez, FOUR! The plan is clear... To attack Travis Head and not let him settle. It's tossed up around off, the Professor dances down the track, gets to the pitch of the delivery and lofts it straight back over the bowler's head to get another boundary to his name.
14.3 : 14.3: J Faulkner to S Khan, OUT! Australia needed something and they finally get it. Lovely bowling from James Faulkner. Good length delivery just around off, it straightens up a shade after angling in initially. Sharjeel Khan looks to poke it away on the off side with a slightly open face and ends up getting a nick on it. It's a regulation catch for Matty Wade behind the stumps and that's the first wicket down for Pakistan. Just the thing the Aussies needed.
16.5 : 16.5: J Faulkner to M Hafeez, FOUR! Shot. Didn't bounce much, came at a comfortable height and the stand-in Pakistan captain has dispatched that. He stands tall to this length ball and whips it hard through the mid-wicket region for a boundary.
17.5: M Marsh to B Azam, FOUR! Shot of the match. Beauty, as Waqar Younis says on air. Full and just around off, Babar Azam leans into the shot and punches it back down the ground. Leaves the mid on fielder no chance of stopping it as it races away to the boundary line.
22.6 : 22.6: J Hazlewood to B Azam, FOUR! Beautiful shot! Fuller length ball on middle and leg, Azam stays well balanced and clips it elegantly through mid-wicket. Earns himself a boundary.
24.2 : 24.2: M Starc to M Hafeez, FOUR! What a way to reach his fifty! Bowls a fullish delivery on the pads, Hafeez clips it nonchalantly over square leg and the ball races to the fence. It has been a responsible knock from the stand-in Pakistani skipper and he is guiding them towards the target calmly.
25.6 : 25.6: Pat Cummins to B Azam, FOUR! Shot! Bowls a short delivery into the stumps, Azam stands tall and pulls it hard over mid-wicket for a gorgeous boundary.
28.4 : 28.4: M Starc to M Hafeez, FOUR! Uppish but in the gap! Bowls a fuller length ball outside off, Hafeez drives it with an open face and in between the fielders at cover-point and backward point. Gets another boundary to his name.
28.6 : 28.6: M Starc to B Azam, FOUR! Streaky but handy! Bowls a shortish delivery wide outside off, Azam slashes at it but gets an outside edge over the slip region and the ball races to the third man fence.
29.6: J Faulkner to B Azam, FOUR! Sheer class! Fractionally overpitched outside off, Azam leans forward and creams it elegantly through the covers for a terrific boundary.
30.1 : 30.1: M Starc to M Hafeez, FOUR! Hafeez is on the charge! Fullish delivery outside off, Hafeez drives it uppishly with an open face through cover-point and the ball whistles away to the fence.
30.3 : 30.3: M Starc to B Azam, OUT! Azam departs! The brilliant 72-run stand comes to an end. He tried this shot a few times earlier too but this time it brings his downfall. Bowls a shortish delivery outside off, Azam looks to ramp it over the third man fence but fails to get the desired elevation. It flies towards Hazlewood at third man. He moves to his left and takes a good catch. The visitors are still in the driver's seat and need 81 off 117 balls with 8 wickets still in the tank.
31.5 : 31.5: J Faulkner to M Hafeez, OUT! The change of angle has done the trick and James Faulkner has struck gold. Comes from around the wicket and angles in a fuller ball from around off, Hafeez leans across and lofts it off the toe end towards mid on. The ball stops on the track a bit and that does him in. Hazlewood settles himself under it and takes the easiest of catches.
33.3 : 33.3: Pat Cummins to S Malik, FOUR! And edge which hasn't carried! How unfortunate is that for Pat Cummins? Length delivery angling in from around off, Malik hangs his bat out to this and he gets a healthy edge. It flies behind but falls short of Mitchell Marsh at first slip. It goes through him and that will be a boundary.
35.1 : 35.1: Pat Cummins to S Malik, FOUR! Think Shoaib Malik has had enough. He goes at this and goes hard. It's a bit too wide and it's enough for him to slash it through cover-point for a boundary.
36.4 : 36.4: J Hazlewood to S Malik, SIX! OH SHOAIB MALIK, YOU BEAUTY! What a shot to hit under pressure. He was waiting a long time for that from Josh Hazlewood and he's made full use of it. Full on the stumps, Malik with perfect balance and an excellent straight bat, lofts his back down the ground. Clears the rope easily and that will be a biggie.
39.1 : 39.1: M Marsh to S Malik, FOUR! Very good shot! That should relieve some pressure. Short and wide outside off, enough room for Malik to free his arms and he does so. Slashes it over point and sends it across the ropes for a boundary.
39.5 : 39.5: M Marsh to S Malik, FOUR! That has been hit beautifully. Shots don't get any better than that. Marsh overpitches it on middle and off, Shoaib Malik leans into the drive and hits it right back down the ground. That will race away to the boundary line.
42.5: M Starc to A Shafiq, OUT! That's an edge which is taken! A needless shot from Asad Shafiq, was no need to go after it. Starc fires it full and well outside off, Shafiq goes after it still for some reason and gets a nick on it. Easy take for Matthew Wade behind the stumps who makes no mistake in gobbling it up. Another 26 runs needed from 43 balls.
43.5: M Marsh to S Malik, FOUR! WHAT. A. SHOT. Hit that with absolute disdain, didn't he? Back of a length around off, Malik gets on top of the bounce and thumps the pull over mid-wicket to send it across the fence.
44.4 : 44.4: J Faulkner to U Akmal, FOUR! Just banged that. Went dead straight and executed it extremely well. Overpitched outside off, Umar Akmal drives it aerially back down and sends it one bounce across the long off boundary.
47.2 : 47.2: T Head to U Akmal, FOUR! Makes great use of his feet and gets it away. Gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it ever so well over extra cover for a boundary.
47.4 : 47.4: T Head to U Akmal, FOUR! THEY'RE ALMOST HOME! Full toss on off, Umar Akmal hammers his back down the ground for a boundary. Almost took off his partner's head with that but the two of them are all smiles anyway. Just one run needed to win now.
