Informs they have a couple of changes, one forced and the other due to the wicket - Ishan Kishan is sick and he is replaced by Ben Cutting and Jason Behrendorff misses out and Jayant Yadav comes in.

0.1 : I Sharma to R Sharma, The ball misbehaves straightaway! That stays low! Behind a driving length and outside off, Rohit looks to drive but the ball stays low, goes underneath his bat and on the bounce to Pant. Judging by the first ball, Mumbai may just have won a good toss.

Chris Morris is on now!
3.1 : C Morris to de Kock, Full on leg, de Kock comes forward and flicks it over mid-wicket for a run.
3.2 : C Morris to R Sharma, EDGY FOUR! Full marks to the bowler but runs to the batsman. Length and on off, Rohit looks for the hoick across the line but due to the low bounce, he gets an inside edge which goes close past the leg stump and to the fine leg fence.

3.5 : C Morris to de Kock, OHHHH! Just over the off pole. This delivery was short and on off. de Kock looks to pull it across the line but the ball just does not bounce as much as he expected it to. He misses and it goes over the off pole. Cross-batted shots, just not the right option on this wicket.
3.6 : C Morris to de Kock, SIX! He has nailed this cross-batted shot! This was once again on the shorter side but on the body. De Kock feeds on such deliveries, he pulls it with aplomb over the square leg fence. First of the game and expensive first by Morris, 16 from it.

5.1 : K Paul to R Sharma, Back of a length on off, the batter stands tall and punches it to covers. A dot to start the 6th.
5.2 : K Paul to R Sharma, Another back foot punch but once again the gap is not found, the ball though is to the left of the cover fielder so a single is possible.

5.4 : K Paul to de Kock, Goes very full on off, de Kock looks to squeeze it through the off side but finds cover.
5.5 : K Paul to de Kock, Takes a few steps down the wicket but mistimes it towards mid-wicket for a run.
5.6 : K Paul to R Sharma, SIX! It is also a NO BALL! Poor bowling by Paul. He bowls a high, very high full toss. Rohit smashes it over square leg for a biggie. The next ball is a Free Hit.
K Paul to R Sharma, Just a single from the Free Hit! Slower one and on off, Sharma pushes it through covers for a run. 16 from the last over of the Powerplay and on this slow wicket, the visitors are off to an absolute flier. They are 57 for 0.
Amit Mishra is into the attack.
6.1 : A Mishra to R Sharma, OUT! TIMBER! Amit Mishra strikes straightaway! A poor shot by Rohit to be honest. Mishra bowls this flatter, lands it on middle and gets it to turn away a little. Sharma is rooted to his crease, he first tries to play it on the leg side but then tries to adjust to the turn by playing it with a straight bat. It is too late by then as the ball beats the outside edge and hits the stumps. Amit Mishra is delighted and an excellent bowling change by Iyer. Rohit does have a w

7.5 : A Patel to Ben Cutting, OUT! Cutting is a goner! That is as plumb as it gets. This is flatter and on middle, Cutting looks to sweep but misses. It hits him on the pads. An appeal and the umpire raises the finger. Two quick wickets for Delhi and they are right back in the contest. Cutting's comeback into the team is not a good one.

Strategic break.
9.1 : A Patel to S Yadav, Shorter in length and fired on the stumps, this is punched down to long on for a single.
0.0 : A discussion between Iyer and the two umpires but not sure for what. Maybe he did not like Morris throwing the ball on the bounce.

9.3 : A Patel to S Yadav, Floated on off, Yadav drives it towards mid off for a run.
9.4 : A Patel to de Kock, Flighted delivery on middle, de Kock plays a slog sweep over mid-wicket for a run.
9.5 : A Patel to S Yadav, OUT! A big mix-up and de Kock is out of here! This is probably the last thing Mumbai would have wanted, de Kock was really playing well out there but he has to walk back. This is fired outside off, Yadav cuts it to the left of Rabada at point. De Kock feels there is a run and sets off. Rabada though gets to the ball quickly. Seeing that, Yadav refuses for the single. It is too late though as de Kock is right next to him. Kagiso throws it to the keeper who lobs it to the

Kagiso Rabada is back now!
13.1 : K Rabada to S Yadav, A little too straight and it is flicked through square leg for a single.
13.2 : K Rabada to K Pandya, On a good length and outside off, Pandya plays it towards point for a run.
13.3 : K Rabada to S Yadav, FOUR! Excellent shot! Slightly short and it is the slower one. Yadav waits for it, arches and then upper cuts it over the keeper's head. Rabada's pace would probably be a little suitable for the batsmen on this wicket.
13.4 : K Rabada to S Yadav, Short of a length delivery, Yadav pulls it towards fine leg for a run.
13.5 : K Rabada to K Pandya, 100 up for Mumbai. Short of a length delivery, Pandya pulls it towards mid-wicket for a run.

15.1 : K Rabada to S Yadav, OUT! Caught behind! A good catch by Pant there. Yadav looks to be innovative but those are brilliant when they come off and ugly when they don't. This time it does not come off. He tries to play the paddle scoop but Rabada seeing that, bowls it outside off. SKY still continues with the shot, it though goes off the toe-end to the right of Pant who takes it with a dive. The set Yadav is out, just at the wrong time for Mumbai.
0.0 : Strategic break. Hardik Pandya is the new man in.

16.5 : C Morris to H Pandya, Length delivery on off, Hardik punches it towards point for a run.
16.6 : C Morris to K Pandya, FOUR! That has been brilliantly squeezed out! This is very full and outside off, Krunal just opens the face at the very end and hits it past the diving point fielder for a boundary. Morris bowled the seam-up delivery on the last ball. Maybe that is not the way to go on this surface.
Keemo Paul is back into the attack.
17.1 : K Paul to H Pandya, Length delivery on off, Hardik plays it towards long off for a run.
17.2 : K Paul to K Pandya, FOUR! Cheeky! Brilliantly played! This was on middle and he has managed to get to the third man fence. Once again a seam-up ball going for a boundary. It is on middle, Krunal stays leg side of the delivery and just opens the face. It beats the fielder at short third man and into the fence. Boundary early in the over.

17.6 : K Paul to H Pandya, Full on middle, Hardik Pandya heaves it over mid on for a run. 17 runs have come from the over. The pitch is on the slower side and is deteriorating as the match is progressing.
18.1 : C Morris to H Pandya, Pandya just about keeps it out! That is a corker of a yorker from around the wicket on middle, Pandya somehow manages to get bat on ball as he hits it to short fine leg. Does not run.
18.2 : C Morris to H Pandya, Bowls a yorker on leg, Hardik flicks it towards square leg for a run.
18.3 : C Morris to K Pandya, WIDE! First wide of the match. Bowls it down the leg side, Krunal looks to go after it but misses it.
C Morris to K Pandya, In the air... but it lands in no man's land! A slower one on middle, Krunal lofts it straight up in the air towards mid-wicket. The bowler runs after it but can't reach it. Two taken.
18.4 : C Morris to K Pandya, The slower one on the pads, Pandya works it through mid-wicket for a single. This is a very good till now.
18.5 : C Morris to H Pandya, SIX! He's in unbelievable form, isn't he? Superb hit from Hardik Pandya. It's a low full toss on middle and leg as Morris misses the attempted yorker, Hardik flicks it with his strong wrists and dumps it into the backward square leg stands.
18.6 : C Morris to H Pandya, FOUR! Finishes the over in fine fashion. 15 from it. Mumbai really accelerating here in the final few overs. High full toss and Hardik shuffles across quickly. He hits this fine down the leg side and ends the over with a boundary. Morris had bowled a good over, but these last two balls have ruined that.
Kagiso Rabada is back into the attack.
19.1 : K Rabada to K Pandya, WIDE! Down the leg side, Krunal looks to flick but misses. It has been wided. Pandya will be disappointed with himself as a flick there would have fetched him a boundary.
K Rabada to K Pandya, A high full toss, not very high. Krunal fails to take full toll of it. He strokes it to mid off and takes a run. The fielder has a shy and had he hit, Krunal was a goner but he misses.
19.2 : K Rabada to H Pandya, SIX! This guy has such a strong forearm. My word, how has he hit that for a biggie. That is full and on middle, Hardik Pandya brings out the helicopter shot, he connects it right off the middle and it flies over the long on fence. 8 from the first two balls.
19.3 : K Rabada to H Pandya, OUT! In the air... taken! Rabada has the last laugh but a brilliant innings from Hardik. He has provided the much-needed impetus. Rabada changes his length and bangs it short on middle, too quick for the younger Pandya who looks to pull but only manages a top edge. It goes to the left of Pant who takes an easy catch.
Kieron Pollard is the new batsman in.
19.4 : K Rabada to K Pandya, WIDE! Way too wide outside off, KP does go after it but misses. It has been wided.
K Rabada to K Pandya, FOUR! In the gap! Fuller in length and on middle, the batter whips it through mid-wicket. It is away from the fielder in the deep and a boundary results. The last over too is turning out to be a big one.
19.5 : K Rabada to K Pandya, FOUR! Another full toss and another boundary! 17 from the over with a ball to go. This is outside off. Pandya carves it through point and it goes to the point fence.
19.6 : K Rabada to K Pandya, LEG BYE TO END! Still a 18-run over. MUMBAI FINISH WITH 168 ON THE BOARD! A good delivery to end. Rabada follows Krunal with a short one on the body. Krunal looks to pull but gets hit on the body. The ball rolls towards short fine leg for a single.
Once again it's Hardik Pandya to the rescue for Mumbai. He's been in fine touch this season and he's delivered once again. After opting to bat on this slow deck turning slower as the game progressed, Rohit and de Kock got Mumbai off to a brisk start, scoring 57 in the Powerplay itself. It looked like Delhi would be in some trouble, but a few wickets in relatively quick succession, with the two openers departing in the space of 3 overs, saw the hosts make their way back into the game. They were c
Delhi will be disappointed with how they let things slip. It was an up and down innings for them. They didn't start off well, but then pulled things back in the Powerplay, and then let it slip again in the death. The spin duo of Axar and Mishra did well, while the pacers, barring Ishant Sharma, were taken for runs. One wonders why he wasn't asked to bowl in the death, given he had an over left and only gave away 17 in his 3 overs.
Amit Sharma who is up for an interview says he is feeling very good and he is happy to get to 150 wickets in this League. Mentions he always tries to vary his pace and he looks to bowl according to the situation. Reckons there is not a lot of turn but the wicket is on the slower side. Ends by saying, they can chase this down but feels the visitors have got a good total on the board.
It's going to be an uphill battle for Delhi for sure. 150 was touted to be a winning score on this slow surface, now they have to score almost 170 to win the game. Mumbai will surely back themselves to defend this out. If the home side is to win this contest, then it will need one or two from its top 4 to score the bulk of the runs. Let's see how it goes.
0.0 : We are back for the chase. The players and umpires are out in the middle. Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan will open the batting for Delhi. Hardik Pandya will start the proceedings for Mumbai.
0.1 : H Pandya to P Shaw, A hint of shape there and also good bounce on the first ball on this slow surface. Back of a length around off, Shaw stands tall and guides it towards point.
0.2 : H Pandya to P Shaw, FOUR! Prithvi is underway in style! Short and wide outside off, Shaw cuts it through point and the ball races away to the fence. Poor ball and it was meant to be put away.
0.3 : H Pandya to P Shaw, FOUR! Poor bowling this! They placed the covers on the boundary and Hardik ends up bowling on the pads. Shaw works it to the fine leg fence. Consecutive boundaries.
0.4 : H Pandya to P Shaw, Better! Corrects his line and lands it on off, Shaw is solid in defense.
0.5 : H Pandya to P Shaw, Back of a length and on off, all Shaw can do is, push it to mid on. Two dots after the two boundaries. How will this over end?
0.6 : H Pandya to P Shaw, With another dot! That means three in a row! A good first over for Delhi though. On a length and on off, Shaw blocks it out.
Rahul Chahar to bowl from the other end.
1.1 : R Chahar to S Dhawan, Chahar starts with a flatter delivery on leg, Dhawan flicks it to short fine leg.
1.2 : R Chahar to S Dhawan, FOUR! On leg and punished. A flighted delivery on leg, Dhawan gets his one knee down and strokes it away to mid-wicket for a boundary.
1.3 : R Chahar to S Dhawan, Full on off, Dhawan keeps it away.
1.4 : R Chahar to S Dhawan, FOUR! Another sweep by Dhawan. Chahar is not learning, pitching this around leg, Dhawan gets on one knee and with ease sweeps it down to mid-wicket for another boundary.
1.5 : R Chahar to S Dhawan, The googly on middle, Dhawan looks to defend but gets an inside edge onto his pads.
1.6 : R Chahar to S Dhawan, That has been smashed! Dhawan makes use of his feet and then hits it hard towards the bowler. Chahar tries to get down in time but is slow to do so. The ball though hits his boot and that takes some pace off it. The fielder at long on runs to his right and keeps it down to two.
Lasith Malinga is into the attack.
2.1 : L Malinga to P Shaw, A slower fuller delivery by Malinga on off, Shaw flicks it to mid-wicket for a single.
2.2 : L Malinga to S Dhawan, Another slower one by Malinga, Dhawan dances down the track and just tucks it to covers.
2.3 : L Malinga to S Dhawan, FOUR! Class by Dhawan. Malinga rolling his fingers on this one. Width offered by him. Dhawan makes full use of it, he firmly plants his front leg and drives this towards the covers region for boundary.
2.4 : L Malinga to S Dhawan, A back of a length delivery, Dhawan keeps it away.
2.5 : L Malinga to S Dhawan, FOUR! Dhawan making full use of fielding restrictions. A length delivery on off, Shikhar Dhawan comes down the track and lifts it above covers for a one bounce boundary.
2.6 : L Malinga to S Dhawan, Smart batting by Dhawan, comes down the track and taps it to mid off for a quick single. 10 runs from this over.
Jayant Yadav is on now!
3.1 : J Yadav to S Dhawan, This is fired on off, Dhawan keeps it out.
3.2 : J Yadav to S Dhawan, Slows it up a little, Dhawan dances down and looks to hit it against the spin. Gets a leading edge to wide long off for a couple.
3.3 : J Yadav to S Dhawan, This is quicker and very full on middle, Dhawan hits it to long on for a quick run.
3.4 : J Yadav to P Shaw, Almost chops it on! Short and outside off, it is turning back in. Shaw looks to cut but gets an inside edge which goes close past the off stump and then hits the keeper.

Mumbai captain, Rohit Sharma, says after the first two overs, he and de Kock thought 140 would be a good score. Mentions that Rahul Chahar has been working hard since the last season and they wanted to ge
Man of the Match, Hardik Pandya, says he's been feeling he's hitting the ball better than he ever has and that's all down to the hard work he's been putting in the nets.
