Commentary :
0.0 : Hello and a warm welcome to Australia's tour of New Zealand! This is a very short series as the Aussies go to their neighbors for just 5 T20Is and hence, every game of this tour promises to be a cracker. Australia lead into this series on the back of a T20I series loss against India and will be looking to bounce back here. They have chosen a relatively young squad this time around and it will be interesting to see how this team performs. The Kiwis, on the other hand, have been dominant at home,
TOSS - Up goes the coin and it lands in the favor of Finch. AUSTRALIA WILL BOWL FIRST!
The Australian skipper, Aaron Finch says that it looks like a really good wicket and he feels it won't change. Mentions the percentage of teams chasing is higher so they would want to chase but first, they want to start off well with the ball. Adds they had 12 days of training, the first few days were quite individual-based and then with the team. Informs Josh Philippe is making his debut and he is quite excited for him.
Kane Williamson, the New Zealand skipper, starts by says they wanted to bowl first too as the wicket is pretty good but they now will look to do well and execute their plans. States it is great to be back out there and they are looking forward to this game. Adds it is important for them to continue their performances against a good Australian side. Informs Bennet and Chapman are out.
Australia (Playing XI) - Aaron Finch (C), Matthew Wade (WK), Josh Philippe, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Marsh, Daniel Sams, Ashton Agar, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa.
New Zealand (Playing XI) - Martin Guptill, Tim Seifert (WK), Kane Williamson (C), Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Trent Boult.
PITCH REPORT - Craig McMillan and Suzie Bates are the pitch inspectors for the day. Craig starts by saying that it looks like a very good day for cricket. Suzie says that it is a good cricket wicket and there will be good pace and bounce and it will be good for the batters too. Ends by saying that bowlers from both sides will enjoy bowling here.
Time for the National Anthems now! First, it will be Australia's and that will be followed by New Zealand's.
Right then. We are done with all the pre-match formalities as the action is all set to begin. The Australian players come out and look to spread out to their respective positions out on the field. The Kiwi openers, Martin Guptill and Tim Seifert follow them out too. Daniel Sams to start off with the ball first up. Here he comes...
0.1 : Daniel Sams to Martin Guptill, Sams starts off with a length ball outside off, Martin lets this one through to the keeper.

Applause all around from the crowd for Conway as he walks back now! A brilliant batting show by Devon Conway has seen the Kiwis end up with a very strong total, even though their top order was in shambles. Kane Williamson will be glad that his young guns have fired with the bat. The Kiwis were struggling at 19/3, when the duo of Conway and Philipps came along and stitched a stand of 74 runs to steady the ship. Philipps fell and Neesham came and played a good, short cameo and added 47 runs with D
Just the start that Australia would have wanted with the ball. By the time the 4th over was completed, they had already snared 3 wickets to their name. But they lose their way in the middle overs when Conway was playing his game. They were not able to put a leash on him and his exploits have seen the Black Caps reach a huge total. Jhye Richardson was good as he scalped 2 wickets and Sams had two wickets to his name as well. Zampa was economical, even though he bowled just 3 overs.
The star of the moment, Devon Conway is caught up for a quick chat. Conway says that it took a little bit of time to get used to the wicket as initially it was sticky but got better as the game went on. Conway says that the key is to stay positive as he feels he is at his best when he is positive. Devon feels it is all about how you react and feels lucky it came off today.
Right then. 185 needed for the Aussies. They would have wanted that total to be a tad bit lower but they do have a strong batting attack and they will be confident of scaling this down. The Kiwis will be gunning to come out and start off strongly with the ball. Which team takes the honors? Join us shortly for the run chase.
We are back for the run chase! The Kiwi players are in a huddle and then they stride out into the middle. The Australian openers, Aaron Finch and  Matthew Wade walk out to open the innings. Tim Southee is all set to operate with the new ball first up!
