Diehard Indian fans backing the team despite their lacklustre performances so far in Australia are in for a major disappointment. Dhoni will fail to pull off any magic this time. India has no chances to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and defend the title.
World champions such as Roger Federer, Iker Casillas, Taufiq Hidayat, Serena Williams, Abhinav Bindra, Ian Thorpe were born in the years 1981-82. Uranus, the planet of revolutionary endeavors and Planet 'Y' the planet of meticulous perfection were in deep exaltation during this period. Our very own 'Captain Cool' Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the man of the series-WC 2011-Yuvraj Singh and the man who saved the final-Gautam Gambhir; all are 1981 borns.
This time around we have only one 1981-82 born; the skipper himself. Unfortunately for India, Dhoni has squeezed out every possible glory out of his extraordinary horoscope. He has won the inaugural World Twenty 20, the 2011 ICC World Cup, the Champions Trophy, besides leading his club Chennai Super Kings to four titles. Every horoscope has a karmic quota of success and for Dhoni, it is impossible now to win a tournament of such huge magnitude. To compound his troubles there are two 1981-born skippers in the fray who haven't won major events – Brendon McCullum and Michael Clarke.
The class of 2011 was unbelievably strong with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh etc in the ranks. They possess extraordinary horoscopes that make them legendary. But the 2015 batch doesn't contain such players of superior horoscopes. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Stuart Binny, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma or Umesh Yadav do not possess great horoscopes and can at the most win an inferior tournament like Champions Trophy, which they did in 2013. Having Duncan Fletcher as the coach whose horoscope has lived out its potential more than a decade ago, doesn't help matters either. The dreadful fact is that the Pakistan team seems powerful enough to pull off their maiden victory over India this time.
Look at the Australian squad – there are five players born in 1981-82 including skipper Clarke and the vice captain George Bailey. Clarke has been part of one World Cup victory back in 2007, wherein his contribution wasn't anything spectacular. His horoscope's pinnacle would be winning the 2015 event as the captain. The opening pair of David Warner and Aaron Finch will be the most destructive in the tournament and their fast bowling batallion would be the best too. Warner is a strong contender for the player of the tournament award, besides the 1981-born brigade of Mitchell Johnson, Shane Watson and Michael Clarke. This is clearly Australia's tournament to lose.
Australia have competition only in New Zealand and South Africa. McCullum has as many chances to win the Cup as Clarke. The entire NZ squad has fantastic players with good horoscopes. AB DeVilliers has the horoscope strong enough for the South Africans to get rid of the 'choker's' tag. The team composition is fabulous too. They only have to overcome the Australians which would be a tough ask though. Watch out for the new look England team. Together with Pakistan and Sri Lanka, England can do some considerable damage. West Indies, Bangladesh and others wouldn't go too far.
While Australia, South Africa and New Zealand should make the semifinals, the fourth spot could go either to India, Sri Lanka or England with India having the least chances.
