Somdev Devvarman said his work was not yet done after becoming the first Indian to make the main men's singles draw at the French Open for 13 years.

The 25-year-old world number 109 beat local Adrian Mannarino 6-4 6-1 on Friday to clinch one of the 16 qualifying spots and will become the first Indian to play in the opening round at Roland Garros since Leander Paes in 1997.

"It feels pretty good but I know my work's not close to done," he told the Times of India from Paris.

"I'm looking forward to the main draw and hoping to win some matches there."

Devvarman, who made his grand slam debut at last year's US Open, will meet Swiss Marco Chiudinelli in the first round of the claycourt major.
