Fans have been eagerly waiting for actor-comedian Kapil Sharma to return with his popular talk show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. And while the entire cast seems to be excited to make a comeback soon, rumours are rife that Archana Puran Singh, who was the special judge in the previous edition of the show, might not make it to the upcoming season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' since she is busy wrapping up the shoot of a web series. 

Archana is at present shooting for a Netflix project.

Reacting to the reports of her no show in the new season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show', Archana has said that the murmurs baseless and she is all set to be a part of the show again.

Speaking with ETimes, Archana said, "I am not aware of any such development. I am going to be part of the show in its upcoming season. Last year, too, such rumours had started when I was shooting for a film. This year, too, I was shooting for a series and people have assumed that I would quit the show. There is no truth to these rumours."

About 'The Kapil Sharma Show', the actress said, "I enjoy the humour and watch actors perform on stage. It is entertaining and the fact that Kapil chose me to be part of the show, is great. I look forward to being part of the upcoming season, too."

For the unversed, Archana Puran Singh had replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu in 2019 after the latter was dropped from the show following uproar over his remarks on Pakistan. 

Meanwhile, Archana, who is an avid social media user, posted a video on Instagram talking about how she is feeling to be back on the sets amid the pandemic. "It is always a little scary to be out during these scary times but I have been home totally. Ever since I came back from New York, I haven’t stepped out. I did go to a parlour because I had to get my hair done before the shoot. But I am so looking forward to start working again. There’s a sigh of relief that the whole unit has been tested but it still is a bit scary," she said in the video.

As for the return of 'The Kapil Sharma Show', it is likely to get back to shoot next month.
