Bigg Boss OTT 2 updates: The audience saved Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar from eviction, leading to Akanksha Puri's exit from the house in the show's second week.
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Model, actress Akanksha Puri's journey in the Bigg Boss house ended within two weeks, and she got eliminated for receiving the lowest votes from the audience. The audience saved Abhishek Malhan with the maximum votes, followed by Jiya Shankar. For the past few days, Akanksha pleaded before the audience that she wanted to stay in the house. Puri even kissed Jad to win the task and to portray herself as the perfect contender who can go to any limit to stay in the game. Yet, her efforts were not enough to impress the audience.
Salman Khan continued his Weekend Ka Vaar segment and punished Jad Hadid for his indecent behaviour with Bebika Dhurve, by nominating him for next week's eviction. Later, Khan grilled Falaq Naazz for making personal remarks about Abhishek Malhan's upbringing. He even confronted Avinash Sachdev for his lack of involvement in the house, and acting as a spectator in the house. Salman gave a reality check to housemates and asked them to be open and confront, rather than to maintain double standards.
Later, Salman welcomed the stars of Carry On Jatta 3, Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa to the show. Khan acted as the perfect host to the guests, as he entertained them, and introduced them to contestants. Abhishek Malhan confessed that he has a huge crush on Sonam, and the actress acknowledged his affection. Gippy and Sonam played a few games with the contestants, and even make them dance to the tunes of Bhangra.
By the end of the episode, Salman called the three nominated contestants to BB Verse. During the BB Verse, Abhishek and Jiya selected Jiya Shankar for the eviction. However, all three didn't agree, so Salman announced the audience's decision, revealing that Akanksha Puri received the least votes, and confirmed her exit from the show.
