Rohit Shetty to host the next season of Khatron Ke Khiladi

It was a given. The success of the reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 has prompted the television channel as of now to retain filmmaker Rohit Shetty as the host for the next season also.

One hears that the filmmaker, who will begin shooting Simmba in April 2018, will reserve the months of June-July for his reality show. While the last season was shot in Spain and aptly titled Pain In Spain, this season’s overseas location is yet to be finalised. On his return, Rohit will resume work on the Ranveer Singh-starrer again.

Our source says, “Simmba is slated for a December 28 release and Rohit is committed to finishing the principal photography by around mid-October. Right now, he is shooting for the reality show, India’s Next Superstars with Karan Johar and is also simultaneously scripting Simmba. In March, he will leave on a recce for his film. But the important thing is that the filmmaker, who has become a favourite television host, is definitely reserving his monsoon break for the next season of KKK.”
