'Sacred Games' 2: Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's hit web show to stream on THIS date

With the first look of new characters being unveiled today, the excitement level for Sacred Games 2 has reached another level for the fans. The web show starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles was streamed online last year in the month of July. The show became an instant hit and the cliffhanger in the last episode have made people impatient for the second season. Soon after the first season went on air, the makers left no stone unturned in shooting for the second season.

Every now and then, the makers tease fans by sharing stills and short videos from the second season, but they haven't announced the official release date yet. However, a port in MesXP suggests that Sacred Games will be streamed either by the end of July or the first week of August this year.

Talking about the same, a source stated to the portal, "Netflix is going through it again and that's why the delay. It seems like the platform isn't happy with the final outcome. Rumours suggest that this season isn't that great as the first one. Well, only time will tell if the audience likes the show or not but we all have high hopes."

Meanwhile, apart from Saif and Nawazuddin, the second season will also have Pankaj Tripathi, Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey playing major roles and bring a lot of twists in the show.

Sacred Games 2 is helmed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, who replaced Vikramaditya Motwane.
