Shocking! 'Crime Patrol' host Annup Sonii quits the show after 8 years

Well, this comes as a shocker to the fans of the crime based show Crime Patrol. Annup Sonii, who has been hosting the show for tha past 8 years has decided to part ways with Crime Patrol. The show is aired on Sony TV and unfortunately Annup's journey with the show has come to an end. 

A leading daily reports that the popular TV actor has already decided to quit the show and is currently serving his notice period. He confirmed the news to the daily saying, "Yes, I am quitting the show."

Annup has gained immense popularity as the face of the crime based show. Talking about the reason why he quit Crime Patrol, Annul shared, "Eight years is a long time and I have had a beautiful journey on the show. However, I miss acting. I am an actor first. I haven’t acted in five years. I am looking forward to doing films and shows.” 

The news has left the fans a disappointed since Annup had become synonymous with the show, owing to his unique style. Commenting on the same, he further told the daily, "I know it could be, but I am sure that the audience will also understand my situation. It has been a long time and I don’t want to become monotonous. I have been involved and passionate about every episode that I have shot and can’t be casual about hosting. However, I cannot kill the actor in me and expect people to understand. The show will always hold a special place in my heart. I now want to experiment with roles as an actor.”
