Sushmita Sen's sister-in-law Charu Asopa Sen announces pregnancy, flaunts baby bump in latest photos

Actor Charu Asopa Sen on Friday (May 21) announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Rajiv Sen, who is Sushmita Sen’s brother. The actor took to Instagram to announce the good news.

“GRATEFUL THANKFUL BLESSED,” the ‘Mere Angne Mei’ actor wrote in her post while sharing photos where she could be seen holding her baby bump in a beautiful olive green dress against the backdrop of natural greens. The pregnancy glow could be seen on Charu’s face.

The actor’s fans and various celebrities congratulated and wished her. TV actor’s Deepika Singh, Vahbiz Dorabjee, Parull Chaudhry, Rehaan Roy, Tanvi Thakker and many other dropped a congratulations in the comments section.

Sushmita Sen's eldest daughter, Renee Sen also wrote a sweet message for Charu. “Mamisa can't wait to pamper our little one,” she wrote with hearts and hug emojis.

The actor confirmed the news in a vlog on her YouTube channel. She described the emotions that she was going through and asked for everyone’s blessing as well. While narrating her experience, Charu even gets teary eyed but continues to express what she was feeling.

Charu Asopa Sen and Rajeev Sen got hitched in June, 2019 in Goa. The couple’s marriage hit a rough patch last year and the two separated. But after living separately for three months, the couple reconciled and have stayed strong since.

While speaking to TOI, Charu said, “Rajeev returned to our home in Mumbai last evening. It was a surprise for me since I had no clue about it. I came back from my shoot and saw him at home. I was angry with him, but all I could feel was love when I saw him. He returned home after three months.”

“I have made him sign a letter in which he has written that he won’t leave me again. I have kept it safe with me”, the actor added.
