Ankita Lokhande visited 'Pavitra Rishta' producer Ekta Kapoor's house, probably to plan a prayer meeting for Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-fiance Ankita Lokhande could not be part of the late actor's funeral owing to restrictions in attendees. She, however, visited his house and might be planning a prayer meeting with Ekta Kapoor, for Sushant.
Ankita was initially trying to attend Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral but could not do so since only 20 people were allowed there. Ankita, who appeared heartbroken, did arrive at Sushant's place with producer Sandeep Singh (also a friend of Sushant) and did not leave the premises till Sushant's father left for Patna. She was also questioned by the police on the ongoing investigation over Sushant's suicide.

After seeing off Sushant's father, Ankita visited Ekta Kapoor's residence in Juhu. The two, according to our sources, could be planning a prayer meeting for Sushant. Sandeep had accompanied Ankita there too, asking the media to respect her privacy.

Sushant began his acting career with Ekta Kapoor. His Television show 'Pavitra Rishta', produced by Ekta Kapoor and co-starring Ankita, became a huge hit and his ticket to Bollywood. The actor made his debut with the 2013 sports drama 'Kai Po Che'.
After dating Ankita for over a decade, Sushant and Ankita moved on with their lives. The two went their separate ways in 2016. Lokhande had recently made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika'. Her latest release (also her second film) 'Baaghi 2' hit theatres for only a day before the COVID-19 lockdown was announced.
