Before going inside the Bigg Boss house, Chandrika Dixit interacted with DNA India and shared her struggle in a candid conversation.
Delhi's Vada Pav Girl aka Chandrika Dixit Gera became the first contestant of Bigg Boss OTT 3 to enter the BB house. Before going inside the house, Chandrika speaks to DNA India for an exclusive conversation. From running a food stall in Delhi to participating in one of the biggest reality shows of India, does Chandrika feel it unreal? She replies, "Life mein itna kuch hua hai, bardhast kiya hai. Lekin kismat ne saath nahi chhodha, aur kismat hi mujhe yaha le aayi hai, aur ek aur mauka mila hai mujhe (So much has happened in my life, but I never ran out of luck, and it has brought me here. I got another chance)."
The 27-year-old social media sensation says that she learnt about life in a hard way. Chandrika asserts that she's been living without the care and support of her parents from her childhood. The entrepreneur says that the biggest survival mantra is to stand up for oneself. "Jab tak aap apne liye stand nahi lete, tab tak koi aapke saath nahi hota (No one is with you until you take a stand for yourself)," Chandrika adds.
When asked about the importance of money in her life, Chandrika instantly adds, "Agar paisa hai na, toh har rishta aapke pass hai. Mujhe paise kamane ka junnon hai. Itna kamaye ki jab mere bache ko need ho toh mere pass paisa ho, kisi se bheek na mangni pade. Jab mere husband ko kuch lena ho toh woh yeh na soche ki 'ghar kaise chalega' (If you have money, then you have every relative. I am passionate about earning money. I should earn so much that when my child needs something, I should be able to provide it, and not have to beg from anyone. Whenever my husband wishes to buy something, he should not think about 'how will we survive')."
Chandrika further reveals that even if she wins Bigg Boss, she will continue running her food stall. When quipped about her wishes, she says, "Paise kamana hai, ghar banana hai. Abhi tak kiraye ke ghar mein reh rahe hai. Aur jaha-jaha logon ne kaha ki apni franchise kholo, waha bhi apna vada pav ka cart lagana hai (I have to earn money and build a house. Till now we're living in a rented house. And wherever people asked me to expand my franchise, I will set up my vada pav cart there too)."
In one of the viral videos, Chandrika was seen getting out of a swanky Ford Mustang. Asks if owns the big toy, Chandrika clarifies, "Maine abhi tak li nahi hai, but agar future mein mauka mila toh lungi zaroor, because mere husband ko cars aur bike ka shauq hai. Mujhe unke saath cycle pe bhaitna bhi pasand hai (I haven't bought it yet, but if I get a chance, then I will definitely buy, for my husband. He is fond of cars and bikes)."
