In a grand celebration marked by deep-rooted traditions, Mukesh Ambani praised his wife, Nita Ambani, for planning the traditional Hindu wedding of their son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The ceremony, held on July 12, 2024, showcased the Ambani family's dedication to Hindu customs.

Mukesh Ambani took a moment to share his thoughts on the profound meaning of a traditional Hindu wedding. He emphasised that such ceremonies are among the most significant rites of passage in an individual's life, linking them to societal duties, spiritual practices, and the broader community. The event, organised by Nita Ambani, provided guests with an immersive experience of rich Indian culture and tradition.

In a heartfelt video, Mukesh Ambani was seen warmly welcoming the attendees. He elaborated on the importance of a Hindu marriage, describing it as a key sanskaar (ritual) that binds individuals to their cultural and spiritual roots. He invited the guests to take part in the traditional Hindu wedding of Anant and Radhika, stating: 

"I pray for the good health, limitless happiness, and boundless success of each and every one present here. Your blessings for Anant and Radhika on this auspicious day are invaluable. Together with all of you, we invoke Panch Tawa, the five foundational elements of mother nature, to offer strength and sustenance to the couple."

Mukesh Ambani credited his wife, Nita Ambani, for curating such a divine and culturally rich wedding experience. He emphasised that in Indian tradition, a marriage is a union between two individuals, while a wedding signifies the coming together of two families, friends, and loved ones.

The wedding ceremony was further highlighted by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who attended the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony to bless the newlyweds. The couple humbly bowed to receive his blessings, and in a touching moment, PM Modi participated in the Aashirwad ritual, performing the worship according to Vedic traditions.
