Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have recently announced that the royal couple would be living in Adelaide Cottage. The couple at the moment is living in Nottingham Palace on the grounds of Kensington Palace. According to reports by Media, Queen Elizabeth is gifting Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The cottage is reportedly being designed by Sir Christopher Wren. At some point of time the palace was occupied by Princess Diana's late sister.
The small cozy property consists of two bedrooms, two reception rooms, a bathroom and a small garden. The residence has a Greco-Egyptian fireplace and the master bedroom features “coved ceiling with gilded dolphins and rope ornament reused from the Royal yacht Royal George.” The cottage is a Grade II listed property, ie, it has some special architectural and historic value. This Cottage is also considered to be of national importance and is protected by law.
The couple formally took on the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they tied the knot at a ceremony in St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle this year in the May.
