She came, she saw, she conquered. Taapsee Pannu is the perfect example of the phrase used. Whether in South Indian films or in Bollywood, the actress has always managed to remain a step ahead, not opting for conventional roles, and paving her own path.

Taapsee Pannu, who is actually called Tapasee Pannu (because of astrological reasons), made her debut in Bollywood with David Dhawan's Chashme Baddoor. From that movie to player Shooter Dadi in Anurag Kashyap's Saand Ki Aankh, Taapsee has surely come a long way.

Taapsee, who turned 32-year-old on Thursday, called herself careless brat in childhood since she not only loved going to school but was also part of major co-curricular activities. The model, who has won many titles, was target of eve-teasing too. She was touched inappropriately while travelling in DTC bus during struggling days. Taapsee now constantly speaks up against eve-teasing, so nobody else go through the incident which she (and most public) once faced. As she made her debut in movies, the actress acquired the nickname Maggie since she had the perfect bounce.

The actress currently has quite few movies to her credit, where she was an important face not only on the poster, but also had a role as powerful as, and some times even more powerful than the lead actor himself. Whether Naam Shabana, Pink, Manmarziyan or even her upcoming release Saand Ki Aankh, Taapsee has made her mark in Bollywood and proven that she is here to stay.
