India's biggest flop wanted to become next KGF, became worst film of 2024, made in Rs 150 crore, earned 10% of budget

Actor Arjun Sarja, who's also called Action King Arjun Sarja, came up with his new film, action thriller Martin. In this film, Arjun plays the dual role of Arjun Saxena and Martin/Rhino 

Martin was touted to be the next mega-actioner from the Kannada industry, and the makers tried to make a similar movie to KGF. The editing pattern, the badass character of Arjun Sarja, and the action set pieces look like a cheap copy of Yash's blockbuster. The music of Martin was composed by Ravi Basrur, the guy who's responsible for the rocking BGM of KGF. 

Martin was released in cinemas on October 11, 2024. The film opened overwhelmingly negative reviews. Critics panned the movie its script, music and cast performances. Martin is declared as the worst film of 2024 by many critics. 

As per the reports, Martin was produced on a massive budget of Rs 150 crores, but due to poor reviews, and negative word-of-mouth, the film grossed only Rs 15 crore in India, and Rs 5 crores overseas, taking the total to Rs 20 crores worldwide. 

Martin is this year's biggest flop from the Kannada language. Till now, the film has only managed to recover 10% of the budget, and going with the trend, the film will soon crumble to dust.
