After Rhea Chakraborty and Showik, NCB makes more arrests in drugs case; 6 to be presented before court today

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which has been investigating the drugs case parallel to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, have made a total of 16 arrests so far. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik, too, are still under custody.

Six out of the arrests are going to be presented before court today. The six drug peddlers would appear before NCB special court in Mumbai through video conference.

Out of them, five drug peddlers were arrested from Mumbai, while one was taken under custody from Goa. A few names to be presented in court today are - Karamjit, Dwayne Fernandes and Ankush.

For the uninformed, Karamjeet's name was revealed during Kaizen Ibrahim's interrogation. The name had also appeared on Showik's chat from October 19, 2020, where he was referring Karamjeet's name to a friend who wanted drugs. According to source, KJ supplied drugs to Sushant ten times.

Dwayne's name had also come up during Ibrahim's investigation. He had supplied drugs to Sushant's house manager Deepesh Sawant (also under custody) and Showik mnay times, and was wanted by the NCB.

Abbas Lakhani, Karan Arora and Kaizan Ibrahim are out on bail. Rhea and Showik's bail was refused after the actress accepted her role in procuring drugs for Sushant at various occasions.
