Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding on Friday, July 12, was attended by multiple star kids including Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and many others. Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan, who was last seen in Yaariyan 2, was also part of the celebrations.

On Sunday, the self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK claimed that Meezaan played cupid between Anant and Radhika, and Anant's father and business tycoon Mukesh Ambani gifted him an apartment worth Rs 30 crore for the same. Taking to his X (previously known as Twitter) account, KRK wrote, "Actor Javed Jaffrey son Meezan Javed Jaffrey is staying at Sandhu Palace Bandra, Mumbai. Because Mukesh Ambani has gifted him that apartment worth of ₹30cr. Actually Meezan did introduce Radhika Merchant to Anant Ambani. Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai (Anything can happen)."

Reacting to his claims, Meezaan's father and veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi reshared his post on his X account and wrote, "Kuch bhi!!!! (Whatever)." Several other netizens also shared their amusing reactions in the comments as one of them wrote, "KRK still believes in WhatsApp forwards", while another added, "Jaaved sir you don’t have to reply to such people who lack in integrity and dignity, you are above him. We know that in the past 40+ years, you have only earned respect so ignore him."

Meezaan made his acting debut in the 2019 romantic drama Malaal, which was also the first film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal Mehta. Bhansali had produced the movie, which was a remake of the 2004 Tamil-Telugu bilingual film 7G Rainbow Colony.
