After setting the box office on fire with Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan's fans are now eyeing his next film, Jawan, as the next big box office dhamaka. Atlee-directed actioner is touted to be one of the biggest films of SRK, and now it is also called the most expensive film of the actor's career.
As per the news report of Bollywood Hungama, Jawan is said to be made at the cost of Rs 300 crores. Yes, that's the big reveal made by a source to the portal. The report quoted the source, who claimed, "Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan's most expensive film to date made on a budget of Rs. 300 crores. King Khan is known to be a gracious producer who loves to spend big to give his audience the best experience on the big screen. Atlee is also a director who is a big believer in the theatrical medium and the duo have come together to create one of the biggest action thrillers of all time."
The source further added that the team went ahead creating huge sets for action sequences, and ditched the greenscreen format. "The action blocks are shot in big setups. The team went ahead to mount big sets rather than the greenscreen format used in Pathaan to give it a more realistic feel." As per the source, Jawan has faced some delays and reshoots too, which increased the costs, but it is all done to enhance the visual appeal of the film.

Jawan, backed by Red Chillies, has impressed the audience with the Prevue. However, the two songs, Chaleya and Zinda Banda failed to live up to the high expectations of Khans' fans. The music of the film is led by noted composer Anirudh Ravichander. This is another reason why music listeners are disheartened, as the music is composed by a genius who has given several notable and popular scores and BGMs. Jawan also stars Nayanthara, in her Bollywood debut, with Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. The movie will release in cinemas on September 7.
