Bollywood industry is considered as the most expensive industry due to the high fees of the actors. From Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan many top actors charge upto Rs 100 crore for the movies. However, when these stars started their career, many of them earned much less than what they earn today. 

One such actor who is one of the highest-paid Indian actors earned Rs 100 as his first salary. This actor also suffered from a stammering issue and fought hard to overcome it. He finally made a blockbuster debut in the film industry. He is none other than Hrithik Roshan. 

Hrithik Roshan started working as a child artist. He worked in grandfather, J. Om Prakash’s Aasha in 1980, and then at the age of 10, he played the role of Rajinikanth’s adopted son in the crime drama Bhagwaan Dada. He then worked as an assistant director in some of his father Rakesh Roshan’s films like Karan Arjun and Khudgarz before making his debut with Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai with Ameesha Patel in 2000. 

When Hrithik Roshan made his first appearance as a child artist in Aasha, he danced to a song enacted by Jeetendra. The six-year-old boy was paid ₹100 for it which was his first ever salary. 

The actor worked in several films as a child artist and after his role in Rajinikanth’s Bhagwan Dada, he decided he wanted to become a full-time actor but his father insisted he should focus on studies first. Later, in his early 20s, he was diagnosed with scoliosis that would not allow him to dance or perform stunts but he didn’t give up and decided to pursue acting anyway. Not only this, during his childhood, the actor suffered embarrassment due to his stammering problem which he overcame through intense voice exercises and guidance of speech therapists. 

Hrithik Roshan has given some memorable performances in his career. From being a superhero in Krrish to playing the most number of disabled characters in movies, the actor has proved his versatility and impressed audiences time and again with his performances in the movie. 

According to IMDb, Hrithik Roshan now earns between 85 crore to Rs 100 crore per film. The actor has a whopping net worth of Rs 3101 crore. Hrithik Roshan reportedly charges Rs 10 to 12 crore as an endorsement fee and also makes a good amount of money from social media as charges Rs 4 to Rs 5 crore for one post. Not only this, he also has his own sportswear clothing company named HRX whose brand value is Rs 200 crore.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie Fighter. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Sharma along with others in key roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 25 next year. Other than this, he also has War 2 in the pipeline which is reportedly being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The film will see a face-off between him and Jr NTR and fans can’t wait to see them onscreen.
