Council for Indian School Certificate Examination is likely to release Indian School Certificate (ISC) Result 2021 by July 20, 2021. CISCE has submitted the evaluation criteria for Class 12 in the Supreme Court hearing on Thursday. As per the evaluation criteria submitted, the CISCE Class 12 results will be declared based on Class 11 and 12 marks of the Class 12 students.

Due to the COVID -19 pandemic situation, the CISCE Class 12 examinations were cancelled by the Board officials shortly after the CBSE Class 12 examinations were cancelled by the board. The evaluation criteria have brought relief for the class 12 students who were awaiting the assessment pattern.

Meanwhile, the Centre on Thursday told the Supreme Court that the CBSE will be adopting a 30:30:40 formula for evaluation of marks of class 12 students based on results of class 10, 11 and 12 respectively.  CBSE students who are not satisfied with the evaluation formula will be given an opportunity to take up the Class 12 examination when the pandemic situation becomes conducive.

CISCE Class 12 evaluation criteria

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations will be considering the average marks secured in the Class 10 examinations.

Marks secured by the students in the class tests conducted and the Class 11 final examinations will also be considered.

The average marks of the internal class tests conducted for the Class 12 students will also be considered for the assessment.

For the final calculation, 60% weightage will be given to the Class 11 and Class 12 tests.

30% weightage will be given to the subject project and practical work and 10% weightage for the class 10 Board exams.

The CBSE and CISCE class 12 Board examinations were cancelled by the respective Boards owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
