Bipasha's backstage banter with Konkona

Bipasha Basu and Konkona Sen Sharma shared some back-stage camaraderie as they zoomed into their hometown, Kolkata, for an event recently.

According to sources, the two bong ladies caught up with each other backstage. “Bipasha was there to be the chief guest while Konkona was there as a host. It was evident that the two ladies had met after a long time because they were having their share of fun backstage,” says an onlooker.

Brazilian football legends Romario and Branco were also present at the event.

“The event unfolded with Durga Vandana by Tanushree Shankar and her dance troupe. It was followed by a laser show. In between the second dance recital, Bipasha arrived on stage wearing a red-bordered white embroidered sari and red bangles. She arrived in a palanquin while Tanushree’s girls surrounded her on the stage during the dance recital that depicted Bengali culture and tradition,” says another source.

Music composer Bappi Lahiri and singers Alka Yagnik and Debojit Saha were there too.
