Charlize Theron ready to have baby

Charlize Theron says she's ready to become a mother.

The actress' obsession with motherhood kick-started when she played an expectant mum in her new movie The Road.

"I know I'm ready for that phase of my life," the Daily Telegraph quoted Theron as saying.

"I'm reaching the point where I would love to be a mom. I know I want to raise a big family, and it's just a question of time now.

"I've been blessed in having an incredibly strong and supportive mother, who has been my guide in life.

"She's always been there when I've needed her – and there have been many times when I've needed her to be there for me," she added.
