After Hours gets the former ramp scorchers together, as they reminisce about their days on the catwalk.

The ramp rulers of the late '80s and '90s — Madhu Sapre and Milind Soman — haven't walked together since 1995. "Really! It's been 11 years, has it?" wonders Milind. The duo got together to walk for the launch of Gant fashion show and they can't help but go down memory lane.

"Not many people know that Milind's eye-sight is bad, so when we used to walk for bridal shows, he would step on my dupatta or lehenga," laughs Madhu. And Milind Soman adds, "Also I don't like walking with anyone, so I'd either be too slow or fast. I can't walk side-by-side."

These two buddies used to fight and argue so much that there were times when it would spill on to the runaway. "Behind our wide smiles, we'd be muttering to each other even while we walked," recalls Madhu.

Madhu has been married for six years while Milind has moved to acting, but both insist that the other hasn't changed at all. "Actually, Madhu has. She doesn't do those 'close' photo-shoots with me anymore," kids Milind, while Madhu looks for something to hit him with. "Okay, you haven't changed," he agrees.

Milind and Madhu might have gone their separate ways in the last couple of years, but the bond between them remains. "I can't really pinpoint what it is about Madhu that I like, but there obviously is something," says Milind. As for Madhu, she says, "I know that I can talk to Milind about anything and he'll not judge me," she insists.

Ask the supermodels to pick a reflection of the 'Madhu-Milind' pair from the present crop of models and conversation comes to a standstill. "Actually, I don't think there is anyone like us today," says Madhu, and Milind explains what she means, "The models in our time might not have had the fittest bodies but each one had character. Today, all the models are thin, but have no personality.
