Murder accused Indrani Mukerjea, who was jailed for murdering Sheena Bora, has claimed in her new book that her daughter is still alive.
Indrani Mukerjea, who was jailed for allegedly murdering her own daughter Sheena Bora, has decided to release her tell-all book ‘Unbroken: The Untold Story’, where she has made a shocking claim – that her daughter is still alive and well, living her life outside the country.
Murder accused Indrani Mukerjea was jailed on the charges of murdering daughter Sheena Bora and was arrested by the Mumbai Police in 2015. Throughout her time in jail, Mukerjea has denied her involvement in the murder and maintains that her daughter is still alive.
The mysterious murder case of Sheena Bora made headlines back in 2015, when it was alleged that her mother and noted media executive had strangled her to death and disposed of her body with the help of her ex-husband, and claimed that Sheena has fled the country.
Now, Indrani Mukerjea’s new book has made shocking claims about the murder allegations as well as claims over Sheena Bora still being alive. Here is all you need to know about her book ‘Unbroken: The Untold Story’ and its shocking revelations.
In her book, Indrani Mukerjea claimed that Sheena Bora is still alive and is currently residing in a country overseas. The former media personality has claimed that Sheena fled the country and created a false pretense of her murder to live a life away from her family.
Intensifying her claims, Indrani has written in her book that an inmate at the Byculla jail saw her daughter Sheena alive in Kashmir. The murder accused said that this inmate was a “female government officer”.
Indrani wrote in her book, “When I was in prison, an inmate at Byculla Jail too claimed to have seen Sheena in Kashmir. She was a 'female government official'. I, through my lawyer Sana (Raees Khan), urged the CBI to probe this. It went nowhere. But when Saveena saw her, recently, we knew we had to look for her."
Further, Indrani said that Sheena is not coming out in the open on purpose, but the reason is still a mystery to her.
Indrani Mukerjea also mentioned an instance when a woman looking like Sheena was spotted at the Guwahati Airport, but the CBI refused to probe the matter further when her lawyer demanded that the identity of the woman be tracked.
