The former WWE champion was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Wednesday as his friend and former manager broke the news.
The WWE Hall of Fame has got bigger and better by the day as the newest member, who has been inducted into the same is none other but India's The Great Khali. Khali has been revealed as the latest inductee in the Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2021.
From beating the Phenom, The Undertaker in his debut match in the year 2006 to winning the world championship, The Great Khali has had a rollercoaster journey, but the former WWE champ is considered a hero in his country as he has gone through such a tough but memorable journey and career in the sport-entertainment history.
Let us take a look at five of the wrestler's greatest moments on the WWE stage:
1. The Great Khali beat The Undertaker in 2006

It's very rare that the Phenom, The Undertaker gets taken down in the WWE ring but it to happen in just 10 minutes at the hands of a player, who is making his debut. Yes, Khali made his debut on the WWE PPV on that day and destroyed Taker at Judgement Day 2006.
2. That battle with John Cena

It was the closing game of the WWE One Night Stand event in 2007 and what a game it was. John Cena wasn't going to lose his WWE title to Khali at any cost but the then 34-year old gave him a tough fight. Both had a great series of matches and Khali lived up to his position but it was Cena in the end who gave the final blow.
3. WWE title match at Summerslam 2008

In just two years, Khali had made a name for himself and was going after the title in the Summerslam 2008. His final game was against Triple H. Even though, Khali had taken giant strides in the game, he wasn't going to win the gold that too against a player like that of Triple H. But the Indian wrestler had a great outing giving the Triple H a taste of his own medicine, before going down in the end.
4. Khali is a World champion

Batista, Kane, there were many top wrestlers in the fray od becoming the next WWE champion but whom did it go to. Yes, in a shock to the whole world The Great Khali was crowned the new WWE champion. He had a great title run for a few months before going down against Batista and had to give away the belt.
5. Beating Rey Mysterio with ease

Rey Mysterio stood toe to toe with The Khali and to his credit, he did flow around the ring, doing his antics but Khali stood his ground. He just didn't go down that easy against the reigning world champion but the Mysterio looked like a shadow of himself against the big man. The match that went about five minutes and it showed the shades of the world champion 'The Great Khali'.
