Candidates preparing for the UPSC exam undergo rigorous training and dedicate countless hours. The UPSC exam in India sees thousands of aspiring civil servants every year. The exam serves as a gateway to prestigious positions such as IAS, IRS, and IFS officers, making it one of the toughest challenges in the country. Today, we will shed light upon the story of Pari Bishnoi who cracked the UPSC exam and is now serving the nation as an IAS officer.

Hailing from Bikaner, Rajasthan, Pari completed her schooling at St. Mary’s Convent School in Ajmer. She was a bright student who scored 91 percent in Class 10 and 89 percent in Class 12. Her mother serves in the GRP as a police officer, while her father is an advocate.

Later, she moved to Delhi, where she studied for her undergraduate degree at the Indraprastha College for Women of the University of Delhi. After that, she continued her studies in Ajmer, where she earned her Master's degree in political science from MDS University.

After finishing college, Pari decided to embark on a UPSC journey to become an IAS officer. For a rigorous preparation, she decided to cut down on distractions which included deleting all her social media accounts, and also avoided using her phone. Her mother in an interview mentioned that Pari lived her life like a ‘monk’ while preparing for India’s most toughest exam.

Finally, all the sacrifice and extreme hard work paid off as she cleared the 2019 UPSC exam in her third attempt and secured an All India Rank 30.

Pari is currently posted as an Additional District Magistrate in Sikkim, North East cadre. She is married to the youngest member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly Bhavya Bishnoi.
