The weather office has issued a yellow alert for light showers for the next five days, except for June 30, when the warning has been upgraded to an orange alert.

IMD Weather Update: In a much-needed relief from the intense heat as heavy rains lashed Delhi-NCR on Thursday morning with the maximum temperature falling to 30 degrees Celcius in the National Capital. "Light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 30-40 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi during the next two hours," the IMD said in a post on X at 7:30 am.
