 England cricketer Simon Jones has reportedly quit first class and one-day cricket to focus on Twenty20 games around the world

The Welsh fast bowler, who was a part of the successful 2005 England Ashes side, will play his final first-class game in the YB40 final at Lord's for Glamorgan on Saturday before becoming a T20 player for hire, with the Big Bash and the Indian Premier League his targets

According to the Mirror, Jones said that he still has a few good years left in him, although he added that T20 cricket is the way forward for him for which he will be focusing on the format from now on

Stating that he is fit and available, Jones also said that he has no regrets over his Test career, adding that he gave it his everything and was unlucky with some freak injuries

Jones also said that he would love to play T20 cricket for his county side Glamorgan.
